Toyo R610 – an all-season tire developed using the advanced DSOC-II modeling technology. Thanks to this technology, it was possible to optimize the tread, improving traction characteristics, reducing noise levels, and enhancing protection against hydroplaning. This model can be installed on a wide range of passenger cars of various classes.
The directional tread with pronounced symmetry features a solid rib with uneven edges in its central part. This design solution allowed for the improvement of several parameters at once. Firstly, it's an increase in maneuverability and responsiveness to steering wheel rotations. Secondly, it's the stabilization of straight-line movement and improvement of traction characteristics due to the lateral protrusions that serve as additional grip elements.
The presence of directional channels that ensure rapid water and mud drainage guarantees effective contact with the road surface in any weather. It's worth noting that the drainage system here is of the open type, so it can quickly handle large water volumes, reducing the risk of hydroplaning and slushing (in winter).
The sidewalls of increased strength are a stabilizing factor that improves maneuverability at various speed modes. They also effectively protect against mechanical damage from sharp objects, maintaining the integrity of the tire and increasing its service life.
