The Toyo Proxes Sport SUV summer tire is suitable for almost any modern crossover, whose owner prefers to move on asphalt roads. It represents a special version of the same model for passenger cars. It differs in the reinforced design of the frame and sidewalls, adapting the tire to the high center of gravity and increased weight of the SUV.
Intensive braking in any conditions
The tread pattern contains a large number of transverse edges. The elements located in two out of three ribs of the central part are directed towards each other. Along with the increased length of the transverse edges in the shoulder areas, this significantly reduces the braking distance, regardless of road conditions. At the same time, their inclination in such a mode of movement increases the directional stability.
Precision handling and traction stability
In the lateral projection, the drainage grooves have a conical shape. It increases the resistance to deformation, both of the longitudinal ribs in the central part and of the shoulder blocks. As a result, the tire's response to steering is given additional precision and speed, and the traction becomes more stable.

The profile of the tread pattern has been optimized in a certain way. The use of several radii of curvature made it possible to significantly increase the contact patch, giving it a shape close to square. This solution allows the load from the weight of the vehicle to be distributed evenly over the road surface. Together with the stiffness of the breaker and sidewalls, this both enhances traction and gives it stability, especially when maneuvering.
