The Toyo Proxes CF2 SUV tire is designed for use in compact urban crossovers. It is distinguished by good handling, increased traction (including on wet asphalt), fuel efficiency, and ride comfort. All this makes this model one of the optimal solutions for those who prefer an urban lifestyle.
Tread and its characteristics
In this case, the manufacturer has opted for an asymmetric tread, which, due to the features of its design, provides ease of vehicle handling and is also characterized by excellent wear resistance. The latter factor has a positive effect on the tire's service life. Additionally, the model has a construction with increased stiffness, which has a positive effect on braking, both on dry and wet road surfaces, providing a high level of safety.
Aqua planning protection and acoustic comfort
The tread features wide channels through which water masses are quickly diverted. This factor guarantees the stability of the tire's behavior without loss of operational properties even in heavy rain.
Nano Balance
This is the name of the company's proprietary development, which is a compound with a high silica content. Thanks to this rubber composition, the tire has reduced rolling resistance, which has a positive effect on fuel efficiency, as well as stability on wet asphalt, provided by excellent traction.
Braking efficiency
Compared to the previous generation of tires in this line, this model has improved braking characteristics. The latter are provided not only by the compound composition but also by the structure of the sidewall zones, which have special elements. Thanks to this tandem, the braking distance has been reduced by 3%. It seems like an insignificant improvement, but only at first glance. These percentages have significantly improved the tire's behavior in turns, ensuring their stable passage without skidding even in heavy rain conditions.
Key features of the Toyo Proxes CF2 SUV
- The presence of a steel breaker ensures the tire's stiffness and reliability;
- The rubber compound increases traction with any surface, providing better acceleration and braking characteristics;
- Improved water drainage from the contact area with the road surface;
- Reduced noise level due to the optimization of the tread pattern;
- Reduced wear level even with intensive use.
