Toyo Open Country U/T – a summer model designed for use on a wide range of off-road vehicles. The tire has an original tread pattern, which, together with the compound, gives the tire improved traction and traction properties.
Silent Wall
The Japanese manufacturer carefully approaches the development of new models, trying to apply innovative technologies in each of them. This model was no exception, in the production of which Silent Wall was used. This innovation is represented by ribbed surfaces of the inner walls of the grooves. The task of such an element is to dampen sound vibrations, making the ride more comfortable. The teeth also help to quickly remove moisture from the contact area, contributing to increased traction.
Wide range of applications
Since this model is all-season, the manufacturer has tried to combine the main features of summer and winter models in it. In particular, the increased silicon content allows increasing traction even in low temperatures, while keeping the compound relatively soft. The presence of wavy lamellas and deep grooves also contributes to the rapid cleaning of the tread from dirt, snow, and water. To this, it is worth adding the use of a non-directional tread pattern in combination with wavy lamellas – all this contributes to improving the manageability of the vehicle in various weather conditions.
Off-road use
This model is mainly oriented to driving in urban conditions, i.e., on asphalt roads. However, the manufacturer does not exclude its off-road use, which is facilitated by the construction of the tread pattern and the composition of the rubber mixture. All this makes the tire universal not only in terms of seasonality but also in terms of application.
