The passenger tire for SUVs and crossovers Toyo Open Country A19A is an all-season tire with a number of reservations regarding climatic conditions. One of them is the optimization of the distribution of external pressure on the contact patch. It, in turn, has a practically square shape due to the small radius of the tread profile. As a result, the tire demonstrates stable traction in any conditions on the one hand, and increased resistance to uneven wear on the other. Another advantage of such a shoulder area design is excellent maneuverability and a shortened braking distance. It is provided by numerous transverse tread edges formed by blocks, as well as their rigidity, which was achieved thanks to the above-mentioned bridges between them.
