The Toyo Observe GSI6 HP SUV winter tire is designed for crossovers and SUVs. The "friction" model is favorably distinguished by improved traction properties on rolled snow and ice, demonstrating precision handling, reduced braking distance, and reliable traction in such conditions.
One of the key features of the tire is the tread pattern with the original lamellization technology. Narrow slits, in addition to the 3D structure of the vertical walls, are distinguished by an arrangement in which the surfaces formed by them have a circular direction. Together with their large number, this significantly increases the effectiveness of the tread on very slippery surfaces such as rolled snow and ice.
Another difference of the tire is the physico-chemical properties of the rubber compound. In particular, the compound has the ability to absorb moisture from the road surface, which additionally dries the contact patch, thereby improving traction, especially on ice. This is due to the use of bamboo charcoal powder in the composition, which gives the rubber compound a porous structure. Additionally, it contains small particles of walnut. The highly rigid material forms countless "spikes" that help the tread to cling to the road surface even better.
