Description Toyo Observe Garit G1S
Winter tire for SUVs and crossovers Toyo Observe Garit G1S is designed for use in regions with a very cold climate. On any snowy and icy surface, it demonstrates reliability in handling, excellent traction and braking properties, reduced fuel consumption, and a relatively smooth and quiet ride.
The tread pattern is made in a classic design for winter tires with a V-shaped arrangement of grooves. The drainage elements, due to their direction against the movement and increased size, are able to drain not only water but also its mixture with thawed snow and road slush from under the tire, which provides high reliability of handling in bad weather conditions. It is worth noting the presence of a large number of blocks in the tread pattern. The elements are distributed in groups, forming virtually continuous transverse edges. This provides excellent traction on snowy and wet surfaces, and in combination with a small inclination of these edges - directional stability and reduced rolling resistance. The shoulder blocks also feature a combination of massive size and profile, which further increases their resistance to deformation. This noticeably slows down the process of abrasive wear of the entire tread, and in combination with the increased height of their sidewalls, provides more stable grip when cornering, which significantly simplifies control over the vehicle's trajectory. Efficiency on the most slippery icy surfaces is achieved through the use of studs. The steel elements have an optimized arrangement on the tread, most of them are located on the edges of the tread, which improves traction and braking properties, as well as when performing maneuvers.
Key features of Toyo Observe Garit G1S:
- the directional pattern with a large number of small blocks is effective on any winter surface;
- the Y-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves increases handling reliability in bad weather conditions;
- numerous studs and lamellas provide handling reliability on snowy and icy surfaces;
- a special rubber compound that retains almost all of its initial elasticity at extremely low temperatures, enhances traction properties on winter roads, along with high resistance to abrasive wear.
