Description Toyo Delvex 934
The all-season passenger non-studded tire Toyo Delvex 934 is one of the novelties of the Japanese manufacturer, designed for small-tonnage cargo transportation - minivans, light trucks and vans. This model is produced in 20 standard sizes with landing sizes, starting from 12 inches and ending with 15 inches.
For the Toyo Delvex 934 tire, Japanese specialists have developed a new symmetrical non-directional tread pattern, featuring an original S-shaped design. In the central part of the tread, there are numerous blocks, arranged in three longitudinal ribs. This construction of the middle part of the tread allows for excellent traction and coupling characteristics on slippery coatings, as the contact patch always contains many coupling edges formed by the tread blocks.
The shoulder areas are distinguished by a strengthened design, which gave this part of the tread a high degree of rigidity. Due to this feature, the tire has a large rectangular contact patch, which contributes to a more even distribution of pressure. As a result, the tire received a tread that is resistant to uneven wear.
However, one of the key features of the novelty was the innovative rubber compound, which provided the tire with excellent characteristics on snowy and icy roads. The rubber compound includes bamboo crumbs, which, when moving on snow or ice, absorb the moisture formed as a result of friction. In addition, the rubber compound contains walnut micro-particles, which, like micro-studs, reliably grip the icy surface.
Main features of the Toyo Delvex 934 light truck tire
- Three rows of blocks located in the central part of the tread provide high acceleration efficiency on snow;
- Reinforced shoulder areas allow for optimal distribution of pressure across the entire contact patch, ensuring even tread wear;
- Innovative composition of the rubber compound, including bamboo crumbs that absorb moisture, as well as walnut micro-particles that can effectively grip even bare ice;
- Tread blocks in the shoulder areas, located at a right angle to the direction of movement, significantly improved the braking efficiency on a slippery road.
