The Toyo 800 Ultra tire is designed for a wide range of passenger cars. It is positioned by the manufacturer in some markets as an all-season model, thanks to the high stability of its traction properties and comfort of handling on slippery surfaces.
The tread pattern is made in a non-directional design. Its feature is the multitude of traction edges. A significant part of them is located transversely and has an S-shape. This allows for intense acceleration and deceleration on a wet surface. At the same time, high resistance to aquaplaning is ensured due to the large volume of longitudinal and numerous transverse water-dispelling grooves. The shoulder areas are enlarged and have a profile that significantly limits the mobility of the blocks located in them. This increases stability and accuracy in handling when maneuvering, especially at high speeds.
