The Three-A P326 is a summer tyre designed for passenger vehicles and driving on paved roads. Its tread pattern features continuous longitudinal ribs separated by wide circumferential grooves. The dense layout of the tread area is combined with transverse sipes, helping to maintain stability on asphalt and evacuate water from the contact patch.
Extended longitudinal grooves
Main channels run along the entire tread surface, drawing water away from the tyre-road contact zone. Transverse sipes connect individual rib sections to these channels, while shoulder grooves ensure water is expelled to the edges of the tread. This network creates multiple water evacuation paths and helps reduce water buildup beneath the tyre on wet surfaces.
Dense ribs in the central area
The central tread zone consists of large longitudinal blocks with short, angled sipes. These preserve a substantial contact area and provide support during straight-line driving. Limited rib segmentation helps minimize excessive rubber deformation under load, enabling consistent force transmission to the road during acceleration, braking, and minor trajectory adjustments.
Shoulder elements for maneuverability
Wide elements with transverse grooves are located along the edges of the tread. Large bases support the shoulder zones when lateral loads increase during cornering. At the same time, transverse sipes preserve additional biting edges and assist in water evacuation. As a result, the central ribs and shoulder areas work together to help maintain the shape of the contact patch during directional changes.
