Description Tecnica Quattro GT Q4-GT-01
Tecnica Quattro GT Q4-GT-01 is designed for passenger cars. The tread pattern combines longitudinal rows of blocks, an extensive network of water-dispersing grooves, and numerous fine sipes. This configuration combines stable support on the road surface with a high number of gripping edges.
Longitudinal tread structure
The central area consists of densely packed blocks arranged in continuous, consecutive rows. The small gaps between them help maintain a large rubber surface area in the contact patch. During straight-line driving, this structure enhances tyre stability, while the lateral block edges contribute to traction and braking forces.
Branched water evacuation
Four longitudinal grooves divide the tread surface into distinct zones. These run continuously around the tyre circumference and serve as the main channels for water evacuation from the contact patch. Transverse cuts connect tread areas to these channels and extend to the outer edges in the shoulder regions. As a result, water has evacuation paths both along and across the tread, helping maintain grip on wet surfaces.
Numerous sipes
The block surfaces are cut with narrow sipes, predominantly positioned across the rolling direction. Their edges complement the larger faces of the tread elements and create additional grip points on slippery surfaces. At the same time, these narrow cuts occupy significantly less space than wide grooves, allowing the blocks to retain a well-developed contact area.
Key features of Tecnica Quattro GT Q4-GT-01
- closely spaced longitudinal rows of blocks ensure stability during straight-line driving;
- four circumferential grooves and transverse sipes form a branched water evacuation system;
- numerous sipes increase the number of biting edges;
- transverse grooves in the shoulder areas provide water with an exit path towards the tread edges.
