The Starfire RS-R1.0 summer tire is designed for car owners who prefer an aggressive driving style but don't want to sacrifice comfort. The key feature of this model is its almost perfect balance between high performance at any speed and excellent comfort level. Additionally, the tire's exceptional applicability is noteworthy, with a size range of nearly three dozen different sizes for wheels with a rim diameter of 15 to 18 inches. The tire also has high speed indices - V and W, which testifies to its exceptional capabilities.

Combination of performance and comfort

To achieve ideal balance, the specialists of the North American company equipped this tire with an original V-shaped symmetrical directional tread pattern. It is built according to the classic scheme - three longitudinal ribs in the central part and two shoulder zones.

In the very center of the Starfire RS-R1.0 tread, there is a very wide double longitudinal rib. Due to the absence of any interruptions throughout its length, it has very high deformation resistance. This allowed the tire to have excellent directional stability, as well as lightning-fast reactions to steering wheel movements.

The other two longitudinal ribs, also located in the central part of the tread, are equipped with special grooves directed at a significant angle relative to the direction of movement. These tread elements perform a number of important functions. First and foremost, it is the removal of water from the contact patch to the outside of the tread. Additionally, these grooves form numerous edges that provide high acceleration efficiency, especially on wet asphalt.
