Description Sportrak SP788
Summer tyre Sportrak SP788 is designed for passenger cars. A distinctive feature of its tread pattern is a wide continuous rib located in the central area. On both sides of this rib are longitudinal grooves and blocks with slanted sipes.
Central rib and drainage channels
The central rib runs continuously around the entire circumference of the tyre, forming a constant contact strip with the road surface. Two wide grooves along its edges are complemented by narrower longitudinal channels closer to the shoulder areas. Between them are tread sections with zigzag edges and slanted sipes connecting adjacent grooves.
Shoulder areas
The shoulder zones are divided by long, curved grooves directed toward the edges of the tread. Together with the longitudinal channels, they create efficient paths for water evacuation from the contact patch. At the same time, large rubber blocks in the central and shoulder zones remain in firm contact with the road surface.
