The company Sportiva presents its winter model Snow Win. The main emphasis in the production of the tire was placed on a new tread pattern, which provides excellent traction and stability on the road.
Distinctive features of the Sportiva Snow Win tire
First of all, it is worth paying attention to the directional tread pattern, which not only significantly reduces the likelihood of aquaplaning, but also provides reliability and safety on a wet road. The use of lamellas with a sinusoidal shape made it possible to increase both the braking qualities of the Sportiva Snow Win tire and its grip properties on snowy and wet road surfaces. To ensure effective water and snow removal from the non-contact area of the wheel with the road, three wide and deep grooves are used, which run along the wheel. The large number of lamellas increases the safety of driving on snowy roads, and the variable depth of the lamella system allows for significant improvement in safety when passing turns on icy road surfaces.
For more comfortable handling, an offset arrangement of tread pattern blocks was used, which made it possible to achieve a balance between quiet sound and soft handling. And the use of variable-width tread elements further reduced the noise generated during driving.
In addition to the design, a new rubber compound was also developed, which reduced the braking distance on wet surfaces at low temperatures.
