The Sonix PrimeMaster M/T I summer tire is specifically designed for SUVs and pickups that are primarily used on unpaved surfaces. In such conditions, it demonstrates high traction and grip properties, resistance to lateral slipping, as well as increased reliability and durability in the most severe operating conditions.
The tread pattern is designed in an open style, featuring a combination of individual blocks. The elements have a complex shape, which increases the number of edges formed by them, as well as varying their orientation at different angles. This provides stable traction on unpaved surfaces, especially when the bearing capacity is reduced. This feature is further enhanced by the significant voids between the tread elements, which prevent not only stones but also a mixture of soil particles and water from getting stuck in the tread. Despite the presence of a large number of blocks in the pattern, the tire remains effective on paved roads. This is largely due to the arrangement of the elements with a certain pitch, which allows them to partially overlap each other. This solution increases the contact patch with the road surface, not only strengthening the traction properties but also giving them stability. In addition, the resistance of the tread to abrasive effects is substantially increased.
Key features of the Sonix PrimeMaster M/T I:
- open design of the tread pattern with a large number of blocks provides efficiency on unpaved surfaces;
- increased voids between blocks, special protrusions prevent stones and soil particles from getting stuck in the tread, increasing passability on difficult off-road sections;
- reinforced carcass structure with a steel cord ensures reliability and resistance to damage.
