Simex Jungle Trekker 2

The Simex Jungle Trekker 2 passenger universal tire with increased passability is designed for SUVs and pickups.

This model, thanks to the original design of the non-directional symmetrical tread pattern, has a high speed index "Q" for tires in this category, i.e. up to 160 km/h. The tire tread pattern is equipped with two rows of trapezoidal blocks and two rows of powerful off-road lugs located in the shoulder areas of the tread. The blocks of the central rows are located at the minimum possible distance from each other, which, without compromising the self-cleaning abilities of the tread and off-road qualities, provides a larger contact area of the tire and low rolling resistance. This solution made it possible to significantly improve traction on solid surfaces, including rocky terrain. Additionally, this block placement scheme improved fuel efficiency and reduced noise levels when driving on ordinary roads.

The blocks located in the shoulder areas of the tread are grouped into groups of four blocks each. Each group represents a powerful off-road lug, the high height and two-level profile of which provide additional protection for the tire's sidewalls from punctures and cuts. Moreover, thanks to the high height of the off-road lugs, the tire demonstrates excellent passability on loose surfaces, including mud. It is also worth noting that the groups consisting of four blocks form very large off-road lugs in terms of area, which, in addition to increasing the contact area, provided the Simex Jungle Trekker 2 tire with low ground pressure, which has a positive effect when driving on unstable and loose surfaces.

A distinctive feature of this brand's off-road tires is the unique multi-layer carcass structure, consisting of 4 layers of nylon and 2 layers of Kevlar fibers, which provided the tire with high strength, elasticity, shape stability even at low pressure, as well as unparalleled resistance to various aggressive influences. Additionally, it is impossible not to mention the rubber compound, which was developed taking into account the specifics of tire operation in off-road conditions, making it resistant to wear.
