Released under the well-known and respected worldwide brand, the Simex Extreme Trekker Triple Block passenger universal tire with increased passability is designed for all-wheel drive off-road vehicles.
The design of the directed symmetric tread pattern suggests a predominantly off-road purpose of the tire. The tire tread pattern is equipped with three rows of separate blocks and two shoulder zones, consisting of many powerful and massive off-road lugs. The three rows of blocks located in the central part of the tread are distinguished by their original shape, which, due to the large number of edges, provides excellent traction not only on rocky soils but also on public roads. It is also worth noting that the blocks of the central rows are arranged in a checkerboard pattern, which allowed to significantly increase the contact patch area, thereby improving traction on hard and dry surfaces. In addition, this block arrangement scheme made it possible to significantly reduce the noise level while driving, making the ride on ordinary roads more comfortable.
A distinctive feature of this tire is the powerful off-road lugs located in the shoulder zones, whose directed shape and two-stage structure provided the tire with excellent traction when driving on unstable soils, as well as excellent self-cleaning abilities of the tread, which had a positive effect on the tire's Simex Extreme Trekker Triple Block passability. In addition, their large height in combination with the special ribbed structure of the sidewalls provided the most vulnerable to damage sidewalls of the tire with a high level of protection against punctures, cuts, and abrasions.
The tire carcass is distinguished by a multi-layer structure, which includes 4 layers of nylon fibers and 2 layers of Kevlar fibers, which made the tire very strong and elastic even at low pressure.
