Silverstone NS-223

The Silverstone NS-223 summer tire is installed on predominantly compact passenger cars. An excellent option for urban conditions, thanks to its efficiency on wet surfaces, ease of handling, and acoustic comfort.

The tread pattern has a non-directional design with numerous traction edges. Some of them are formed by curved water-dispensing grooves. Their curved shape and direction against the direction of travel additionally enhance resistance to aquaplaning. The dual rib in the center and the developed transverse shoulder blocks increase the accuracy of handling and course stability at high speed. The tread is made of a compound with a high content of silicon dioxide. This improves traction properties on cooled wet surfaces.
