Silverstone AT-117 Special

The Malaysian summer tire Silverstone AT-117 Special is recommended for four-wheel drive vehicles whose usage environment is 50/50 between off-road and highway conditions. This has been achieved due to a carefully designed tread pattern and an optimized internal tire structure.

New additives in the rubber compound

When developing the rubber compound, the company's specialists used many new components to improve the tire's traction and adhesion characteristics. To increase the elasticity of the rubber, silica was used, resulting in the tread having excellent adhesion characteristics on any surface, while reducing the load on the suspension elements. The increased durability of the tread is achieved due to the application of silicon, which significantly increased the tire's mileage.

New carcass structure

When creating the carcass of the Silverstone AT-117 Special tire, a nylon cord was used, which increased the strength of the carcass. Now, even under increased loads, the tread is reliably protected from possible damage and punctures. The new structure allows for optimal distribution of pressure within the tread, minimizing uneven wear and increasing the contact area. Even when driving on aggressive off-road terrain, the tire has reliable protection and confident handling.

Universal tread pattern

The tread consists of blocks of different shapes, which provides excellent driving characteristics. The central part includes three rows of mixed blocks of different shapes, which ensures confident and clear handling. The shoulder area has sharp mud grips that "bite" into any surface, increasing passability and stability. Additional protection against lateral damage is provided by massive blocks in the shoulder area. Special recesses on the lateral side increase adhesion during maneuvers. A large number of lamellas of different shapes and depths reduce noise when driving and increase adhesion on a wet road surface.
