Description Seiberling Touring 2
The Seiberling Touring 2 summer tire is designed for compact passenger cars. It stands out for its reliable coupling properties on wet pavement, stability and precision handling at high speeds, and fuel efficiency.
The tread pattern is characterized by an increased volume of longitudinal drainage grooves. This reduces the risk of a water film forming in the contact patch, allowing control over the vehicle to be maintained in adverse weather conditions. The elongated transverse edges of the blocks and lamellas provide high traction and braking force to be transmitted to the road surface. The shoulder zones have been increased in size, which, in combination with the optimized profile in this part of the tread, increases stability and handling precision during dynamic maneuvering.
Key features of Seiberling Touring 2
- voluminous drainage grooves reduce the risk of aquaplaning to a minimum;
- rigid shoulder blocks maintain stability during dynamic maneuvering, provide precise handling, and prevent uneven wear;
- numerous lamellas and elongated edges of the shoulder blocks allow for intense acceleration and deceleration on wet pavement.
