Talking about the new Sava Intensa passenger car tire, its developers characterized it as a model with an excellent price-quality ratio. The first is ensured by the absence of a surcharge for the brand and production in Slovakia, and the second by the use of a number of advanced technologies and materials in the design, which were "shared" by Goodyear. Currently, Sava is part of this North American tire giant.

Optimized rubber compound composition

One such "borrowing" was the rubber compound of the tread. Its composition is characterized by a high content of silica, which made it possible to significantly improve wear resistance and traction on wet roads. In addition, the compound contains special polymeric compounds. With their help, the uniformity of the rubber compound is achieved, as well as more robust molecular bonds between all its components. This feature provides the tread with excellent tear resistance, and along with it, reliable protection of the tire's integrity during high-temperature exposure.

Maximum contact patch size in any conditions

When creating this model, its developers sought to maximize the contact patch size. To this end, a whole range of solutions was used, from a tread profile with a variable curvature to a carefully selected scheme for arranging all tread blocks.

- low weight, which has a positive effect on handling and fuel economy.
