Sava Intensa UHP 2

The summer tire Sava Intensa UHP 2, like its predecessor, is designed for the most powerful versions of small and medium-sized passenger cars. The latest technologies and materials were used in its development, which allowed not only to surpass the predecessor in the main operational properties but also to successfully compete with tires of the same category from leading global brands.

Rigid Shoulder Zones

One of the innovations was the design of the shoulder zones. The blocks located here are combined into groups of two elements each with rigid bridges. In combination with their transverse arrangement and massive sizes, this provides for fast and precise transmission of lateral acceleration forces to the steering wheel. As a result, excellent handling is achieved. In addition, the shoulder blocks form a multitude of extended traction edges, which give the tire high efficiency during longitudinal accelerations, especially on wet pavement.

Minimal Risk of Aquaplaning

The tire's tread features a high-performance drainage system. Its basis consists of four longitudinal grooves. Their effectiveness is significantly complemented by the high throughput of numerous channels. Some of them drain water out of the tread, while others direct it into the longitudinal drainage grooves. As a result, the risk of aquaplaning, even at high speeds, is minimal.

Reinforced Rim

Another feature of the tire is the rim design. Its basis is a steel wire of increased thickness. The increased stiffness of this element gives the tire's reactions to steering wheel turns even more speed and accuracy.
