The Satoya Snow Grip (Studded) winter tire is designed for use in areas where the cold season is associated with persistent snow cover formation. It is characterized by stable traction properties on any slippery surfaces, directional stability, and comfortable handling at high speeds, reduced fuel consumption, and high mileage.

The tread pattern is notable for its increased width and V-shaped arrangement of grooves. The direction of the drainage elements against the direction of movement further increases the intensity of water and its mixture with snow removal from under the tire, using the wheel rotation for this purpose. Another feature is the paired arrangement of blocks in the shoulder areas. This creates long edges that increase traction on unstable loose surfaces. Lamellas with serrated edges and studs allow maintaining these properties on flat and slippery surfaces, primarily rolled snow and ice.
