The tread pattern is dotted with thousands of lamellas, forming a corresponding number of traction edges. This increases the traction and braking effort on icy surfaces. The lamella walls have a "three-dimensional" profile, which increases the stiffness of the blocks, allowing for more precise control of the vehicle's trajectory. Efficiency on snow is ensured by the long high edges of the blocks and the increased width of the grooves. Due to the presence of "silica" compound in the composition, the tread remains elastic even at very low temperatures.
