The Sagitar P609 summer tire is one of the most notable novelties from one of China's most renowned manufacturers. This tire is designed primarily for mid-range passenger vehicles, as evidenced by the several dozen sizes it is available in - from 205/50R16 to 255/45R18. Additionally, the high technical characteristics of this tire are indicated by the high-speed index W assigned to it.

The key feature of this tire is the asymmetrical design of the directed tread pattern. The tread pattern consists of two parts, one of which provides excellent traction on the road when turning, and the other - when moving in a straight line.

In the center of the tread, there are three longitudinal ribs, one of which is divided into massive separate blocks by transverse water-dispensing channels, each with two lamellas on its surface, designed to increase the stiffness of this tread element. The longitudinal rib located in the very center of the tread is distinguished by its great width, as well as spiral-shaped lamellas on its surface. Thanks to this solution, it was possible to ensure excellent directional stability when moving at high speed, as well as high acceleration and braking efficiency.

It is also impossible not to note the excellent resistance of the Sagitar P609 tire to aquaplaning, which is ensured by four wide water-dispensing grooves along the entire tread, as well as a multitude of transverse channels that have a spiral shape to increase the efficiency of water disposal.
