The Sagitar P607 summer tire, produced by one of China's most renowned manufacturers, is designed for the widest range of modern passenger cars, from city compacts to powerful sedans. This is evidenced by the several dozen sizes in which this tire is produced - from 195/50R15 to 285/50R20. In addition, this tire has been assigned speed indices V and W, which indicates their high safety and excellent operating characteristics.
The symmetrical directional tread pattern of the Sagitar P607 tire features a V-shaped design, typical of UHP (Ultra High Performance) tires. The tread pattern of the Sagitar P607 tire also speaks to this, consisting of five ribs. In the center of the tread, there is a double central rib that provides the tire with excellent directional stability even at very high speeds.
Additionally, this central rib design contributes to the tire's responsiveness to steering wheel turns and reduced rolling resistance. The two ribs, also located in the central part of the tread, are divided into separate blocks by wavy grooves, which on the one hand provided the tire with effective water evacuation from the contact patch, and on the other hand, did not lead to a significant reduction in the contact patch area. All five longitudinal ribs are divided by four deep and wide grooves designed to evacuate water from the contact patch. At the same time, the lateral parts of the two central grooves have a serrated surface, which is designed to eliminate one of the sources of noise that occurs during airflow inside the grooves.
Key features of Sagitar P607
- Excellent handling in any road conditions is provided by the original V-shaped design of the symmetrical directional tread pattern;
- Phenomenal directional stability, high acceleration and braking efficiency, and quick response to steering wheel turns, thanks to the wide double rib located in the center of the tread;
- Exceptional resistance to aquaplaning due to the high efficiency of water evacuation from the contact patch.
