Royal Black Royal Winter – winter tire for passenger transport with an asymmetric tread, providing ease of handling on icy and snowy roads, low noise level and high fuel efficiency.
The rubber compound, which contains silica, is distinguished by its elasticity in combination with strength. Due to this, a minimal wear level is achieved even with intensive use, thus increasing the service life by 15%.
The tread is represented by an asymmetric design, in which a dense network of lamellas plays a major role. Zigzag grooves cover numerous blocks, both in the center and on the sides, creating an effective grip with the winter road. This factor improves handling characteristics, including on icy roads.
To improve maneuverability, W-shaped grooves were used in the shoulder blocks, which are characterized by their strength. They also help to divert water and snow masses. Additionally, the model features special elements that perform the role of micro-pumps. Thanks to them, quick drying of the contact patch is achieved, increasing the coupling properties.
