The Rotalla S130 winter tire is designed for operation in regions with so-called "mild" winters. It is characterized by good traction and grip on wet and snowy roads, fuel efficiency, acoustic comfort, and a long service life.

The tread pattern is distinguished by a variable density of element arrangement. In the central part, it is the largest, which reduces rolling resistance and wear, increases directional stability and handling comfort at high speeds. In the shoulder areas, the blocks are separated from each other by wide grooves, which, on the one hand, increases the traction force on snow, and on the other hand, reduces the risk of aquaplaning. Another feature of the tread pattern is the presence of numerous lamellas. Their sharp serrated edges provide reliable handling on the most slippery winter surfaces.
