Asymmetry as the basis of stability

The tread pattern features functionally divided zones, each solving its own problem. The central part, represented by three ribbed structures, provides directional stability and maximum contact patch in turns. As for the shoulder area, it is responsible for stability during maneuvering and actively participates in protection against lateral displacement.

Technological advancement

The optimized central zone with a monolithic rib forms a stabilizing "backbone". This design minimizes carcass deformation during sharp maneuvering, providing an instant and predictable response to steering commands. The ribs in the middle zone are equipped with a combination of wavy and wedge-shaped lamellas. They work in sync: the wedges "cut" through the water film, while the wavy channels create a turbulent flow for its effective "suction" and removal from the contact patch. The result is high aquaplaning resistance even at high speeds.

The wide blocks in the outer shoulder, connected by arc-shaped lamellas, provide maximum stiffness to lateral loads. This gives exceptional stability and feedback in tight turns, preventing tire deformation.
