Description Росава Бц-48
All-season tire Rosava BC-48 is designed for compact-class passenger cars. The model differs in a design adapted to urban conditions, as well as high efficiency on slippery surfaces.
Tread pattern with large blocks
The tire tread is made in a symmetrical non-directional design. It is characterized by the use of large blocks, which provide a number of important advantages. The most obvious of these is the increased contact patch, which ensures reliable traction on dry pavement. In addition, this design is distinguished by an even distribution of load on the road surface, which on the one hand gives the tire predictable behavior in complex situations, and on the other hand protects its tread from uneven wear.
Traction properties on slippery surfaces
The tread blocks are separated from each other by wide grooves that run both longitudinally and transversely relative to the direction of movement. They form long and differently directed edges in the contact patch, with which the tire effectively grips the slippery road surface. These properties are further enhanced by numerous knife-like cuts of a curved shape. They also divide the water film on the road surface, directing it into one of the nearby grooves, which achieves better resistance to aquaplaning.
Main features of the Rosava BC-48 tire
- the tread pattern with large blocks provides reliable traction and handling on dry pavement;
- wide longitudinal and transverse grooves, numerous knife-like cuts give the tire high efficiency on slippery surfaces;
- the rubber compound, which retains elasticity at low temperatures and gives the tread resistance to abrasive wear.
