Description Росава Бц-46
The Rosava BT-46 passenger tire has been developed using the experience gained from creating the famous Soviet "all-season" tires, which for decades have been the only alternative for winter operation. Many of the solutions used in them demonstrate high efficiency even today, as evidenced by the good technical characteristics of this tire.
Trapezoidal blocks in the shoulder areas
One of the distinctive features of the design of this tire's tread is its shoulder areas, or rather, the original trapezoidal shape of the blocks located in them. This allows them to maintain their original shape when subjected to lateral acceleration forces. This significantly improves the tire's stability when maneuvering and cornering. In addition, this solution prevents uneven wear, thereby increasing the life of the tread. Another advantage of this shoulder block design is improved braking performance. The traction edges created by them, since they are located transversely, significantly reduce the braking distance.
Wavy central rib
No less effective is the solution used in the tread design - a longitudinal wavy rib in its center. Due to its solid construction, this element improves several key operational properties at once, from directional stability to fuel efficiency. In turn, the wavy shape of the rib successfully combats resonant noise and vibrations, improving acoustic comfort.
Key features of Rosava BT-46
- trapezoidal blocks in the shoulder areas provide increased stability when cornering and maneuvering, reduce braking distance;
- a wavy tread rib in the center improves handling, fuel efficiency, and acoustic comfort;
- multiple lamellas increase traction on ice, and blocks - on snow.
