Description Росава Бц-40
The Rosava BC-40 passenger tire is a "direct heir" to models produced by a well-known Ukrainian enterprise back in Soviet times. In those distant times, there was no concept of a "winter tire". In this capacity, so-called "all-season" tires served. This model is no exception. Thanks to the use of more modern technologies and materials, it differs from its popular predecessors in much higher technical characteristics, especially in terms of traction on slippery roads from rain and snow.
Tread with an increased number of traction edges
The ability to operate this tire all year round is ensured, among other things, by the features of its tread design. It is characterized by an increased number of traction edges. And not all of them are formed by tread blocks. Much better and more stable traction is provided by the numerous lamellas with which this tread is literally dotted. At the same time, these elements on wet roads increase resistance to aquaplaning, due to the fact that the traction edges formed by them literally sweep water into one of the nearby drainage grooves.
Reduced rolling resistance
In addition to lamellas, this tread has a whole range of multifunctional elements. First of all, it is a solid longitudinal rib that runs exactly in the middle. One of its functions is to reduce rolling resistance. In this regard, it should be noted that the majority of transverse traction edges are located at a significant angle to the direction of movement. This feature also significantly reduces rolling resistance.
Main features of Rosava BC-40
- versatility of application due to good traction properties, both on summer and winter roads, ensured by a tread with an increased number of traction edges;
- a narrow solid rib in the center of the tread increases stability at high speeds, and also reduces rolling resistance, as does the location of transverse traction edges at a significant angle to the direction of movement.
