The passenger tire Rosava BT-19 even by today's standards has an enviable range of applications. The fact is that this model is designed for operation at any time of the year in various weather and road conditions. To a large extent, its versatility is ensured by the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern, which is highly effective on the most different types of coverage.
Rigid central rib
In order to give the tire Rosava BT-19 maximum stability and reliability while driving, Ukrainian tire manufacturers have placed a fairly wide longitudinal rib in the center of its tread. It is a solid, uninterrupted tread element characterized by very high structural rigidity. Its presence in this part of the tread provides the tire with a number of important qualities. The most significant of these are reduced rolling resistance, accuracy and speed of executing the driver's commands, as well as excellent directional stability.
A large number of lamellas and blocks
Unlike the central longitudinal rib, the other four similar tread elements are made in a fairly open design, containing a large number of individual blocks. At the same time, their shape varies significantly depending on the location: in the shoulder areas, they are trapezoidal, and in the central part, they are rectangular. In addition, the gripping edges are formed during movement due to a large number of lamellas. All these design features allow this tire to demonstrate excellent grip qualities on slippery surfaces.
Main features of the Rosava BT-19 tire
- universal symmetrical non-directional tread pattern, which is highly effective on the most different types of coverage and in any weather and road conditions, provides a wide range of applications;
- rigid central rib improves directional stability and maneuverability, while reducing rolling resistance;
- open design of the shoulder areas of the tread pattern improves grip on loose and unstable types of coverage, providing the tire with confident behavior in complex situations;
- excellent grip on slippery roads thanks to numerous grip edges formed not only by tread blocks, but also by numerous lamellas on each of them.
