The Rosava BC-11 summer tire has been on the market of our country for quite some time, which does not practically affect its popularity among domestic owners of inexpensive small-class passenger cars. This is due not only to the low cost of this model, but also to its balance. It lacks any pronounced "weak points", which gives it a lot of attractiveness.
Simple but highly effective tread design
A characteristic feature of this model is the presence in its design of exclusively simple technical solutions. However, each of them has excellent efficiency. A striking example of such an approach to creating tires is the tread pattern design. It consists of four longitudinal ribs formed from a multitude of quadrangular blocks. At the same time, they are arranged in such a way that when in contact with the road, they form very long transverse edges that stretch across the entire tread. This gives the tire excellent longitudinal traction and coupling properties, especially on wet roads.
Increased resistance to aquaplaning
The sufficiently large openness of the tread design provides it with a developed drainage system. It contains a multitude of intersecting grooves, which allows the contact patch to remain dry even in heavy rain. Additional resistance to aquaplaning is achieved through numerous straight lamellas. In addition to forming coupling edges, these tread elements direct water to one of the nearby drainage grooves.
Main features of the Rosava BC-11 tire
- a simple tread from a technical point of view gives the tire good performance, especially on wet roads;
- excellent traction and coupling characteristics due to the multitude of tread blocks;
- low rolling resistance, high level of acoustic comfort, due to the arrangement of blocks at an angle to the direction of movement;
- special straight lamellas additionally increase resistance to aquaplaning and coupling on wet roads.
