Description Росава Бц-10
The non-studded winter tire Rosava BC-10 has been in the production range of the well-known Ukrainian tire company for many years. However, a long conveyor life does not prevent this model from meeting much stricter modern requirements thanks to continuous modernization. The modern variation of this long-known tire is beneficially distinguished by the balance of operational qualities with traditionally low cost.
Block structure of the tread pattern
Perhaps the key feature of this model is its tread pattern with an original symmetrical non-directional design. It is distinguished by the presence of a large number of blocks with various configurations, which form four longitudinal ribs. Two of them are located in the central part of the tread, and the other two are its shoulder zones. Such a design made it possible to significantly reduce rolling resistance, while improving the responsiveness of handling and directional stability, especially when driving on slippery roads.
Increased wear resistance
Among other advantages of the tread pattern of Rosava BC-10, it is impossible not to note the uniform distribution of external pressure over the contact patch. It is ensured by the massiveness of the tread blocks, as well as the equal sizes of the longitudinal ribs formed from them. At the same time, the design of the shoulder zones of the tread not only significantly increased the width of the support surface but also gave it a practically rectangular shape, which also contributed to the increase in the durability of the tread to uneven wear.
Another factor that ensured the tire a long service life was the rubber compound. Its composition includes a number of components that significantly increased the resistance of the tread to abrasive wear.
Main features of the Rosava BC-10 model
- the open design of the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern contains a significant number of edges of adhesion, which provides the tire with stable and reliable handling on any winter surface;
- high resistance to uneven wear due to the rectangular shape of the support surface, as well as the optimized distribution of external weight over the contact patch;
- excellent cross-country ability in deep snow is provided due to the significant distance between the blocks and the great depth of the tread.
