The Rockblade Winterplus Stud II winter tire is designed with the climate conditions of the northernmost regions in mind. It is distinguished by reliable traction and coupling properties on ice and snow-covered roads, ease of handling, and smooth ride.
The tread pattern is made in a modern design, featuring small block sizes. This has allowed to significantly increase the number of contact edges in the contact patch, thereby improving traction and braking properties on snow. On more slippery icy surfaces, the effectiveness of the tread is ensured by 3D lamellas, which form a total of several thousand sharpened edges that easily penetrate the water film on the road surface, providing more reliable coupling with it. The studs have similar functionality, with their number increased to provide more stable coupling on ice. Another important feature of the tire is the mutual arrangement of tread elements, which was calculated using computer modeling, allowing to minimize noise and vibrations while maintaining high basic ride properties of the tire.
