The Roadwing brand belongs to the Chinese company Shandong Hengfeng Rubber & Plastic Co., established in 1996. The company has two manufacturing sites with a total capacity of up to 2.5 million commercial tires per year. The plants use modern equipment from the USA, Europe, and Japan. International certification confirms the high quality of the products and allows for the export of most of them to dozens of countries around the world, primarily under this brand.

Commercial Tires Roadwing

In the segment of commercial tires, the brand is represented by more than 50 models, covering almost all scenarios of using trucks and special vehicles. The manufacturer classifies them by operating conditions:

- for highway transport;
- for urban/regional roads;
- for mixed conditions;
- for off-road surfaces.

The most numerous is the line of tires for highway transport. The diversity is due to the presence in it of tires, both for specific and for all axles. To adapt them to various operating conditions, several design options for the tread pattern are used. Most of them consist of solid longitudinal ribs, which minimize wear and rolling resistance, provide stable traction and comfortable handling at high speeds. All "highway" tires use a full-metal carcass, which increases the carrying capacity, reduces fuel consumption, and increases the mileage of the tire.

For urban/regional roads, the brand offers universal models for any axle, perfectly suitable not only for trucks but also for large-capacity buses and special equipment. Some models are designed for use, including on off-road surfaces, but of medium and high carrying capacity, as well as in snow. Here, closed tread patterns are also used, but they contain many more traction edges, and in some cases, their individual sections can be composed of blocks. Another feature is the increased depth of the tread and the use of more durable rubber compounds, which reduces the risk of penetrating damage to the tire.

Roadwing tires for mixed conditions are largely designed for use in special equipment used on construction and production sites. Most models are designed for driving axles and are distinguished by tread patterns with open shoulder zones, corresponding to the operating conditions. Universal tires are designed for use primarily on asphalt roads, distinguished by closed tread patterns with numerous lamellas and edges, which makes them effective, including on off-road surfaces.

For off-road use, the brand offers a fairly large number of models. All of them are very durable products with reinforced carcasses, sidewalls of increased thickness with integrated steel cords. In addition, they use the most resistant to mechanical stress rubber compounds. All these solutions, in combination with tread patterns made of massive blocks, make Roadwing off-road tires an excellent option for special equipment used primarily on hard rocky soils, for example, on the production sites of mining enterprises.
