The all-season tire Roadstone Roadian A/T RA7 is designed for SUVs and crossovers. It is positioned by the manufacturer as an All Terrain category model for use on any type of road surface, including in winter. It is characterized by resistance to aquaplaning and slushing, good traction on dirt surfaces, and stability at high speeds.
The tread pattern is distinguished by the increased width of the longitudinal drainage channels. Due to this, they can intensively drain from the contact patch not only water but also its mixture with road mud and snow, preventing the occurrence of aquaplaning and slushing. The longitudinal ridge in the middle has a composite structure, representing a series of quadrangular blocks. This allowed, without compromising off-road capability, to improve directional stability and stability of traction properties on asphalt roads. At the same time, shoulder blocks connected by rigid "bridges" improve handling precision and prevent uneven wear. On their side walls, there are special protrusions that allow the tread to eject stuck stones and small soil particles.
