The Roadshine trademark belongs to the Chinese company Qingdao Hongtyre Group. The company has been engaged in the development and manufacture of a wide range of automotive tires for over 40 years. Currently, it is one of the largest tire manufacturers in China. This brand is used for marking tires for passenger cars, commercial and special equipment.
In the commercial tire segment, the brand offers almost four dozen models in the following categories:
- for paved roads;
- for mixed conditions - asphalt/dirt
- for dirt roads.
The majority of the tire range of this brand is designed for use on paved roads. They are models of a classic design with a full-metal frame at the base. One of the features is the use of steel wire with increased strength characteristics in the cord, which provides the tire with increased carrying capacity and resistance to damage. Additionally, these tires have a significantly increased tread depth. Even in models for steering axles, this figure is usually at least 16.5 mm. But the most durable in the line of tires for paved roads are models for the load-carrying axles of trailer equipment. They use frames with 14-18 layers of fully steel cord and optimized tread patterns, which further reduce the deforming effect of high weight on the tire.
For mixed operating conditions, the manufacturer offers tires that are effective not only on paved roads but also on most types of dirt roads. A significant part of the range consists of tires for driving axles. They are distinguished by directional V-shaped tread patterns made of blocks. Another feature is the reinforced frames, the number of layers in the steel cord of which often reaches 20. Special compounds with increased resistance to punctures and tears are also used, which, in combination with tread patterns with a depth of more than 20 mm, minimize the risk of through damage to the tire.
For dirt roads, Roadshine offers a fairly diverse range of tires in terms of content. A significant part of them consists of tires for quarries and mines, which are designed for use primarily on hard rocky soils. Such models are distinguished by the design of the tread pattern with massive blocks that perform the function of reinforcing ribs, which help the tire cope with extreme loads on it. The depth of its incision is significantly greater, which reduces the risk of through damage. It is worth noting the use of a special compound that is strong and resistant to prolonged overheating, as well as reinforced frames and sidewalls with steel cord integrated into their structure.
