The tread pattern is dominated by massive blocks and ribs. This design, combined with an optimized tread profile, significantly improves traction and handling, reducing the level of abrasive impact on the tire. The shoulder areas contain a large number of elongated edges of the blocks located here. This allows for intense acceleration and braking, especially on wet surfaces. This feature is substantially enhanced by the characteristics of the rubber compound. Its composition has an increased proportion of "silica", which keeps the tread elastic at low temperatures, allowing the numerous traction edges to easily penetrate the water film on the road surface.
