Description Riken 701
The Riken 701 summer tire is suitable for most popular passenger cars. It is distinguished by improved traction on wet surfaces, comfortable handling, acoustic comfort, and soft ride.
The tread pattern is characterized by an increased number of gripping edges formed by blocks and lamellas cut into them. In combination with the increased volume of drainage grooves, this increases stability on wet surfaces. The shoulder blocks are modules consisting of several elements that form elongated, multidirectional surfaces of large area. This allows for intense acceleration and deceleration, giving the tire a significant margin of traction when maneuvering. The "modularity" of the shoulder zones significantly improves the softness of the ride and resistance to uneven wear.
Key features of Riken 701
- a large number of blocks and lamellas provide stability on wet surfaces;
- the "modular" arrangement of blocks at the edges of the tread increases traction and braking efficiency, traction during maneuvering, and gives the tire a soft ride;
- the optimized tread profile, by increasing the contact patch, improves handling.
