The tread pattern is made in an asymmetric directional design with four wide longitudinal grooves and a system of transverse drainage channels. This structure effectively removes water from the contact zone, reducing the likelihood of aquaplaning and maintaining stability even during sudden summer rains. The two stiff longitudinal ribs offset to the outer side are responsible for the accuracy of reactions to steering and course stability, while the massive shoulder blocks enhance traction when cornering and active braking.
The tire tread is made of an improved rubber compound containing high-dispersion silica and thermally stable elastomers. This composition reduces rolling resistance and improves traction on wet surfaces, while slowing down the wear process.
