Rapid Eco819 – summer tire for passenger cars, equipped with an asymmetric tread pattern. The model is characterized by excellent maneuverability, resistance to hydroplaning, as well as directional stability.
In its creation, modern modeling methods were used, which were reflected in the optimization of the arrangement of individual elements. This had a positive impact on protection against aquaplaning, reduction of noise transmitted to the car's cabin, as well as braking and traction properties. The central zone is occupied by three medium-sized ribs with diagonal notches. It is they who are responsible for improving traction and grip. In addition, they take direct part in the removal of excess moisture from the contact zone to the surrounding channels. The wide shoulder area, which has segmentation, supports the stability of the vehicle during turns, ensuring transparency of control.
During development, special attention was paid to the compound. A number of additives were introduced into it, which maintain elasticity at high temperatures, as well as protect the tire from rapid wear.
