Rapid Eco809 – summer tire for a wide range of passenger cars, from compact to large ones. It is characterized by excellent handling at high speeds, fast water drainage, and increased ride comfort.
The tread is made in a classic asymmetric non-directional style for summer. Its central zone is occupied by a narrow solid rib, which provides precise response to steering wheel turns. On either side of it, there are segmented ribs, the elements of which act as lugs, improving traction and braking characteristics. The shoulder area is made wider, which provides improved stability during maneuvering.
Deep circumferential grooves, combined with unidirectional notches, form an extensive drainage network that neutralizes the hydroplaning effect. The tire is also distinguished by acoustic comfort, which was achieved due to a special arrangement of elements that suppress air mass turbulence.
