Pro Comp Xtreme Trax

All-season passenger tire Pro Comp Xtreme Trax from a well-known North American manufacturer was specially created for ATVs and other similar wheeled vehicles of the same purpose. Despite the narrow specialization, this model uses all the proprietary technologies applied by the company in conventional off-road tires.

As is typical of a high-quality off-road tire, this model is equipped with a tread having a symmetrical non-directional pattern, which has a rather aggressive design. The tire's tread is equipped with powerful lugs that are at a significant distance from each other.

At the same time, the lugs are divided into separate blocks of complex geometric shape. Such a structure and shape of the tread blocks provide the tire with a lot of advantages, due to which it demonstrates phenomenal capabilities for overcoming off-road terrain. It is also worth noting the bidirectional arrangement of the tread elements. This allows for excellent traction and grip indicators, both when moving forward and in the opposite direction. This ability significantly expands the tire's ability to overcome even very difficult off-road areas.

Another distinctive feature of the Pro Comp Xtreme Trax tire is the rounded profile of its tread. Thanks to this technical solution, a more even distribution of the load over the contact patch is ensured, which, in turn, reduces the load on the ground.

Given the specificity of the tire's application, its carcass was significantly strengthened with a two-layer metal cord and an additional layer of nylon wound using a seamless technology. This allowed not only to significantly increase its strength and resistance to punctures and cuts but also to give it excellent elasticity. In addition to the reinforced carcass, the tire received sidewalls with a three-layer structure. This made it possible to reliably protect the most vulnerable part of the tire from various aggressive mechanical influences.
