The all-season passenger tire Pro Comp Xtreme Mud Terrain is one of the novelties of the famous North American manufacturer of specialized off-road tires. This model is specifically designed for SUVs and pickups, the operation of which is associated with frequent overcoming of off-road sections with unstable loose soils - mud and sand. This is also indicated by the word Mud (dirt) in the tire's name.
This model has a tread with a non-directional symmetrical pattern, featuring an original and aggressive exterior design. Like a high-quality off-road tire, the tread of this model consists of four very wide ribs, located longitudinally. The large width of the ribs allows for excellent traction on various types of surfaces, while reducing pressure on the ground.
Each of the four longitudinal ribs represents a separate row of massive blocks. At the same time, the blocks located in the center of the tread are divided into two parts by elliptical-shaped lamellas cut through the entire depth. These lamellas are designed to increase the stiffness of the tread blocks when they come into contact with the surface. In addition, the blocks of the Pro Comp Xtreme Mud Terrain tire have a complex polygonal shape, with edges that also resemble an ellipse, and rounded corners.

This has significantly expanded the tire's capabilities for overcoming complex off-road sections.
