Description Presa PI14
Since the Presa PI14 winter tire for SUVs was developed taking into account the climatic features of countries located near the Arctic Circle, it is not surprising that it has improved technical characteristics, primarily on snowy and icy surfaces.
Rhombus-shaped blocks
The blocks located in the central part of the tread have a rhombus shape. This provides the tire with additional grip on icy roads.
Special "steps" in the shoulder areas
The outer side of the shoulder blocks has a stepped profile. This solution is dictated by the developers' desire to provide maximum grip and stability when moving on sections with deep snow cover.
Increased lamellation density
Thanks to the three-dimensional design of the lamellas, these miniature elements are arranged with a very high density. The increase in their number made it possible to significantly improve the grip characteristics on ice.
Main features of Presa PI14
- The rhombus shape of the blocks in the central part and the increased number of lamellas provide improved grip on icy surfaces;
- The stepped profile and significant height of the blocks in the shoulder areas made it possible to increase the grip characteristics in deep snow, as well as reduce the braking distance on snowy roads.
