On the move, it is characterized by stable coupling properties, regardless of road surface characteristics, and the ability to maintain elasticity at extremely low temperatures.
Increased shoulder areas
The tread pattern is distinguished by the increased size of the shoulder areas. The blocks located here are turned crosswise and have a trapezoidal shape, which further increases their rigidity. This significantly improves the coupling properties and stability during maneuvering. The long transverse edges formed by the blocks and the large width of the grooves between them allow for intense acceleration and deceleration, especially on snow.
Arrow-shaped blocks in the central part
The central part of the tread is a continuous composite rib, containing separate arrow-shaped blocks. This solution reduces rolling resistance and promotes a more even distribution of the weight load on the road surface. The dense arrangement of blocks and their shape increase the contact patch with it, improving traction on dry pavement.
Self-locking lamellas
The tread area is literally pockmarked with narrow slits. The increase in their number was achieved not only by the "three-dimensional" profile of the vertical walls. They are connected to each other by additional lamellas, which fix the slits in the open position over the entire surface of the block. This limits their mobility, which allows "complementing" the appearance in the contact patch of numerous sharp edges with the stability of the tread elements. As a result, the coupling properties on ice and rolled snow are enhanced, and the accuracy of control is increased.
