The Pirelli Winter Snow Plus winter tire is designed for operation in regions with the coldest climate. It is distinguished by reliable traction on snow and ice, the "signature" sharpness and precision of handling, smooth ride and long service life.
The tread pattern is made in the classic directional design for winter tires with a V-shaped arrangement of block edges and cross-shaped wide grooves between them. This significantly improves traction and braking properties on snow and wet pavement. All blocks have several 3D lamellas with serrated edges. Such elements provide confident behavior of the tire on icy surfaces. The rubber compound allows them to work with maximum efficiency due to the ability to maintain elasticity even at extremely low temperatures. It is worth noting the optimized profile of the tread, almost flat in the central part and with tapered edges of the shoulder zones. A solution borrowed from commercial tires, in this case, increases the stability of traction and the accuracy of handling at high speeds, prevents rapid wear of the tread, reduces rolling resistance and noise.
