The S-shaped design of the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern is distinguished by great originality. If you look closely at the central part of the tread, you can see the Latin letter "Z" formed by the shape and arrangement of elements in this part of the tread. This solution made the tire design stylish and aggressive, without causing any harm to the basic operational characteristics of the tire, which, by the way, are at a very high level in this model.

If we return to the technical component, the tread pattern of the tire consists of two central longitudinal ribs and two shoulder zones. Each of the Pirelli Scorpion Zero ribs, located longitudinally in the central part of the tread, consists of many massive blocks, the shape of which, as mentioned earlier, resembles the Latin letter "Z". Together with a sufficiently large distance between the blocks, this solution provided the tire with excellent traction not only on the highway but also when driving on such unstable soils as sand, gravel, and clay. The reinforced shoulder zones, divided into massive blocks, additionally increase the passability indicators.

Another distinctive feature of this tire is the three or four (depending on the tire size) longitudinal grooves, which perform two functions. Firstly, these grooves quickly and efficiently remove water from the contact patch, and secondly, they contribute to the self-cleaning of the tread from foreign objects, which increases the tire's passability.
